PAD London 2026 Brings Collectible Design to Berkeley Square
PAD London is open in Berkeley Square until 18 October, with Buccellati making its debut and highlights from Carlo Bugatti to Ptolemy Mann across furniture, ceramics, textiles and jewellery.
PAD London is under way in Berkeley Square, Mayfair, running from 13 to 18 October, with the public opening on Thursday 15 October. According to the fair, public hours are 11am to 7pm from Thursday to Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sunday. Founded in 2007 by Parisian antique dealer Patrick Perrin, PAD London describes itself as the only fair in the UK dedicated exclusively to historical and contemporary design, and it is the sister fair to PAD Paris, held each April in the Jardin des Tuileries.
Harper's Bazaar UK has picked out seven pieces to look for. Yves Salomon is showing a mirror by Art Nouveau master Carlo Bugatti as part of a conversation between archival and contemporary pieces, while Beirut gallery PIK'D presents large floral ceramic vessels by Andrea Nassar. Milan jeweller Buccellati makes its PAD debut this year, with its Macri bracelets, which use hand engraving to give the gold a soft, silk like finish.
Furniture and textiles feature strongly. Initio Art & Design shows The Watcher, a coffee table by Rebeka Rácz made from a mosaic of hand painted ceramic tiles, and Tristan Hoare Gallery presents Ptolemy Mann's large works inspired by a 2024 trip to Japan, including the Kyushu landscape and the ikat weaves of Amami Oshima. Sarah Myerscough Gallery shows Adriana Meunié's Wall of Wilderness Tapestry I, made from esparto, sisal, linen, estopa and rope found on her native Mallorca.
PAD London sits within a busy week in the capital, running alongside Frieze London and Frieze Masters in Regent's Park. More on the fair is available through PAD London.
